Phyllis and John Sheffield are one of the sweetest and cutest clown couples performing in America today. They are members of Clowns of America International, World Clown Association, and Texas Clown Association. Phyllis is a retired schoolteacher. As a result of her love of children and education, she created her own school show called Daisys Circus. Phyllis uses her experience and knowledge as an educator to write into her show important life skills such as following directions and setting priorities. The magic words are "I Love School!" and are echoed throughout the performance. Phyllis is also on staff at the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She teaches clown skills at one of the few universities in America that offers continuing education in the art of clowning. When not clowning, John is a professional firefighter and uses his clown expertise to direct a troupe in the department where he is employed. The troupe performs for approximately 3000 elementary school students per year teaching them fire and life safety. Phyllis and John are also active volunteers in a prison ministry and volunteer as clown at the UTMB Childrens Hospital in Galveston, Texas. "One of our favorite venues of clowning are the local county fairs and festivals. We enjoy the family entertainment atmosphere provided by these events." John and Phyllis transform into Daisy and Mr. B, the Clown and offer their very best to lend to the successful atmosphere of the event.
